Having worked for HLZAE as a college intern almost 30 years ago, Vincent Astarita is no stranger to the industry. After years at other architectural firms, engineering offices, developers, and management companies, Vincent has recently returned to HLZAE as a Senior Project Manager bringing with him great experience in managing all types of construction projects. With a team-oriented energy, Vincent has spent much time on construction sites in the field, on projects from the ground up, as well as restoration and renovation projects, and everything in between. Vincent’s responsibilities include managing and implementing, through construction administration, the exterior façade restorations, and roof replacements, of projects in the field, and interface with owners, user groups, shareholders, engineers, contractors, and consultants to a successful closeout, in the preparation of FISP reports.

Currently, Vincent is working on London Terrace Towers, four (4) buildings at 23rd Street and 24th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenue, executing an exterior restoration contract from another architect, which involves terracotta and brick parapet wall rebuilds, bricks removal and replacement at the facades, decorative stonework replacements made from molds throughout, lintel work, sub-structural I-beam reinforcement at the 17^th Floor terrace level, and brick pointing.

Vincent earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
