Justin Shea
Associate Director, Architecture
Biography
Justin has more than ten years of historic preservation and restoration experience working on residential, commercial, institutional, and educational projects in the public and private sector. Justin currently serves as an Associate Director, handling all aspects of projects at HLZAE from schematic design through to construction administration and close-out. Justin is a member of HLZAE’s Fenestration Team overseeing window repair and replacement projects. Justin is well-versed in a wide variety of construction types and repair methodologies applicable to historic preservation and restoration in the New York City area and specializes in material science and technical specifications.
Justin’s current projects include 70 East 10th Street, 22 Riverside Drive, and 1060 Park Avenue, which include façade restoration and roof replacement projects.
Justin attended The State University of New York at Alfred. Justin is a Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) Certified Industrial Rope Access Inspector and is an active member of the Association for Preservation Technology (APT) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
