Biography
With more than 30 years of experience, Joe leads an architectural and technical team, overseeing project execution including documentation, scheduling, specifications and construction progress . Joseph specializes in building-wide condition surveys and reports, as well as peer reviews for new construction projects. He is able to leverage his extensive knowledge in NYC construction techniques to mentor Project Associates in the preparation of construction documentation and project management for façade and structural repairs.
Some of Joe’s projects include waterproofing review for the new construction commercial development at 540 West 26th Street, the renovation of privately owned public spaces (POPS) at 301 East 87th Street, multiple renovations at 375 West Broadway, and the restoration and partial replacement of the terra cotta facade at 400 Madison Avenue, a building that he has more than 20 years experience with. Joe has worked on a wide range of prominent residential and commercial projects, and he has a wide range of experience with building restoration, housing rehabilitation, and historic preservation.
Joe earned an associate’s degree in Architecture and Building Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center, Vermont and a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
