With more than 30 years of experience in architecture and civil engineering, Ilya brings a wealth of practical and applied knowledge of building technologies to HLZAE. Ilya oversees all aspects of structural engineering for the firm’s projects, with a particular expertise in design, investigation and repair, renovation, and historic preservation.

Ilya is Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI), Qualified Parking Structure Inspector (QPSI) and Qualified Retaining Wall Inspector (QRWI) in city of New York.

Prior to HLZAE, Ilya worked for prominent engineering firms in New York City and Kiev, Ukraine. He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Civil Engineering degrees at Kiev State Technical University of Civil Engineering and Architecture and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
