Biography
Arie leads HLZAE’s expediting department operations, including performing zoning and code research, overseeing the preparation of filing documents, obtaining plan approvals, and fostering a firm-wide understanding of current filing procedures in New York. With more than 10 years of experience, Arie has worked on a diverse set of projects and has established long-term relationships with New York City municipal agencies.
At HLZAE, Arie provided code review and expediting services for 56-11 94th Street, a seven-story residential building in Queens that was nearly destroyed by a devastating fire. Arie filed applications for several types of work which would restore the building to code compliance. He has also worked on multiple projects at 875 Avenue of the Americas, a 25-story commercial building in Midtown, for which he obtained approvals for select building additions.
Arie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Judaic Studies from the Hebrew Theological College in Skokie, Illinois and a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago, in Chicago, Illinois. Arie is a Class 2 Certified Code & Zoning Filing Representative with the New York City Department of Buildings and a Certified Filing Representative with the Fire Department of New York.
