Biography
With more than 20 years of experience in architecture and engineering, Walter serves as a Senior Project Manager at HLZAE. He oversees investigation and façade repair projects.
Prior to working at HLZAE, Walter managed repair projects and filed a Façade Inspection and Safety Program (FISP) report for the 6th and 7th Cycles for 711 Seagirt Avenue, a 500+ apartment complex in Far Rockaway, Queens. The complex contains four 25-story buildings located 20 feet away from the water inlet. He also worked on façade renovations at 975 Walton Avenue, a six-story Renaissance Revival building located in the Grand Concourse Historic District in the Bronx, after a late summer fire tore through its apartments. For 1 Irving Place, a 21-story residential building near Union Square Park, Walter investigated leaks and led the installation of a new 20,000 SF green roof that qualified for the New York City Green Roof Tax Abatement.
Walter graduated from New York Technical College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Design and Drafting and from City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
