DOB NOW: New Buildings & Alteration-CO

Effective March 1, the Department of Buildings will require the following job types to be submitted in DOB NOW:

• New Buildings (NB)
• Alteration-CO (formerly Alteration 1) – alterations that impact Certificate of Occupancy

This will require current New Building (NB) and Alteration 1 applications that are already in progress on BIS to now have their Schedule of Occupancy (formerly Schedule A) entered on the DOB NOW portal.

In addition, all requests for a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy or Final Certificate of Occupancy will also now need to be made on DOB NOW.
